Deep Funk is a genre that is modern funky music that sounds like an old school track off the Shaft soundtrack. A heavy horn section, jazz drum beats, a funk bassline and guitar blend together to make this a musically tight knit band. This seems to be a band that would be right at home with a 20 minute jam session of Walk on By. My only complaint is that the songs are kept to a 3 minute maximum and there are not enough of them! If you are not deaf, and enjoy music, this is a refreshing must listen to.
