Fans of Brandi will not be disappointed, but this is the kind of album that draws new fans to her music.

The Story shows us a girl with a story to tell through this album. The title track says it all, "so many stories of where I've been and how I got to where I am…" That expresses the sentiment of this album as a collection of life experiences through the lens of a young girl with maturity beyond her years.

Some tracks of note are Turpentine, Cannonball (with the Indigo Girls providing harmony), Late Morning Lullaby and The Story.

It’s hard to narrow down a couple tracks on an album this good.
