We join the rich tradition of past saints who believed that the goal of life is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. We also seek to grow in this pursuit. Every community group is actively involved in practicing spiritual disciplines as a community in order to become more like Jesus Christ.

Through fasting, we learn to hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matt 5:6), and develop his heart. Through Study and Prayer we learn to develop the mind of Christ (Phil. 2:5). Through Solitude and Silence, we free ourselves from the need to use words to justify ourselves to others, and learn to live accepted by God through Christ.

We believe it is the evil that lurks within each of us that mars the image of God that exists within each and every person. We seek to deal with that evil through repentance and restoration, that we may again truly reflect the image of One who is perfect in every way.
