We have all had the experience of feeling alone in a crowd of people and all too often, this is a common experience at church.

Yet what God wants for us is what we are all seeking: community. Not strangers in a building that are supposed to now love each other because it is the right thing to do, but rather a community that provides avenues of relationship where we all (believers and those who don’t yet believe) can have meaningful contact with each other.

In the New Testament, we have clear commands of how we are to treat one another; pray for one another, bear one another’s burdens, love one another, etc. We desire to know each other and to be known by others, and for this reason we emphasize relationship over programs.

Instead of us going to church, we will be the church, together.
