• We believe our local churches must be faithful to the content of unchanging Biblical doctrine (Jude 3).

  • We believe our local churches must be faithful to the continually changing context of the culture(s) in which they minister (1 Corinthians 9:19-23).

  • We believe that while Biblical doctrine is unchanging, our churches must always be changing to reflect the heart of the culture around us. We seek to find new ways to express the eternal truth of the gospel in a way that brings glory to God and makes sense to the world around us.

  • We believe that those who would follow Jesus Christ must be able to engage our cultural zeitgeist by an intelligent, scriptural and well-reasoned approached to understanding the age we live in. We do not hide from our society, nor do we become indistinguishable from it. We are learning what it means to be "in, but not of, the world" (John 17:15).
